****MONDAY, JUNE 9th****
AAC Outreach with UF/IFAS and Florida 4-H
We anticipate 20-25 teenage participants and their instructors who all have a space science interest. This is an enrichment activity as part of a two day experiment design series working with an astronaut. This project will be competing with others with the winner set to launched to the ISS. Their instructors would like to give these students and opportunity to look through telescopes and communicate with fellow enthusiasts.
We would love to have anyone who wants to help, bring a smart or visual telescope, or just come to share your love of astronomy with our future.
This event will be perfect for anyone with a smart telescope to share some DSOs while all visual scopes can observe the Moon, Mars, and some star clusters.
