Tonight's star party is a tentative GO. I waited a bit before calling tonight to see if the forecast would get any clearer...it did not. So my GO comes with a disclaimer!
Weather forecasts are showing a short period of clear skies early, about an hour just after sunset, then getting cloudy.
Moonrise is at 10 pm at 90% illumination.
You should check the forecast yourself before heading out to Chiefland. Mathhew will be underfoot playing with a new toy.....hence the cloud cover!

Sunset is 6:34 pm.
Arrive at least one hour before sunset for setup and to get familiar with the observing field before dark.
