  • 16 Sep 2023
  • 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
  • Easton Newberry Star Park

Registration

Registration is closed

This will be the final hands-on ATM session for 2023. The main focus will be on getting your equipment ready for the cooler and hopefully less cloudy skies this Fall and Winter.

Hosts: Richard Hennig and Rich Russin

Topics:

  • Mirror cleaning (SCTs excluded)
  • Collimation of reflectors
  • General setup, repair, and maintenance issues

For the mirror cleaning, you need to bring your scope and 1 gallon of distilled water along with an old towel to protect the mirror while you work on it. The towel will get wet so you may want to bring a plastic bag.

Please be sure to register and include what help you need in the comments. Priority will be given to registered attendees first.

This session will be held at the Easton Newberry Star Park. We will setup a tent to provide shade while we work. We look forward to seeing you!
